SPENCER LIAUTAUD
Spencer “Spenny” Liautaud, born Dec. 1993, in Kansas City, Missouri but raised in Champaign, Illinois, is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges painting, mixed media, and contemporary abstraction exploring themes of identity, love, consciousness, and emotional perception. With a decade-long background in film and media production, his practice now investigates on canvas what intimacy, societal performance, and the tension between our inner lives and outer expressions, can mean. Though he moved around a lot growing up, he has a true Midwestern mindset with a gypsy soul at heart.
